SALOONI
Salooni is the tehsil headquarter and Sub-Division in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, India. Salooni is an important regional administrative and economic centre. It has a mini secretariat, SDM office, government senior secondary school, Degree College, community health centre and many other sub-division level important government offices. Salooni falls under Dalhousie legislative constituency. The entrance to the small township has a series of few quaint shops, followed by small ground with an ancient goddess Kali temple at other end.
INFRASTRUCTURE
The institute stands tall on its main building built in 2004. The whole institute is well equipped with proper labs and theory rooms. Every branch has its separate theory room and designated labs. The trade classes have already started and further acquisitions of material and infrastructure is under process. Each lab is well equipped with required tools, equipment and other machinery.
The Institute is also well equipped for any electric emergency as it appears that there are too many shutdowns in winters due to snowfall. The labs have almost every required tool and equipment that is needed as per the curriculum.
